Richard Eugene (Ricky) Nobile

	Born in 1948 in Moorhead, Mississippi, Ricky Nobile grew up in the Mississippi Delta. He won the Mississippi Jr. College Press Association Best Cartoons Award while at Mississippi Delta Jr. College and went on to attend the University of Southern Mississippi and Delta State University. He worked for the Bolivar Commercial in Cleveland, Mississippi, and syndicated a weekly editorial cartoon to a number of other Mississippi newspapers.
