Special Collections provides a wide range of services to Southern Miss students. Students have access to print and electronic resources in Special Collections. Use the links below to learn about specific services available to you.

Visit the Ask-a-Librarian page for research assistance via telephone, e-mail, or chat. For one-on-one or small group help, schedule a research consultation with a librarian.
Printing: Photocopies of materials are available for a fee of $0.10/page with a $5.00 fee for every 100 pages copied. Students may make their own copies from books unless they are in poor condition.
Public Computers: Special Collections has two computers available for student use.
Wireless Access: Is available on campus. Go to iTech’s website for additional information.
Digital Reproductions: High resolution scans of our materials are available to students for $5.00/image. Copyright clearance is the responsibility of the student.
Students requiring special assistance in the University Libraries should be registered with the University's Office for Disability Accommodations, which will help to ensure that the libraries are aware of all reasonable and appropriate accommodations.
