Special Collections Reference Consultations

McCain Library and Archives offers research consultations for individual people and small groups. Consultations are intended for students and others conducting research on a specific topic. During the meeting, a librarian will assist the researcher with finding books and manuscripts in our library that support the research topic. Discussion topics may include:

Civil Rights
Numerous topics relating to children's literature
Lumber industry in Mississippi
USM History
Mississippi politics
Printing History
Book illustrations
Southern literature
Mississippi History
