Patrons with wireless network cards in their computers can enjoy access to the campus network while inside any of the University Libraries. The EagleAir Network is available to all students and employees at Southern Miss, normally for a monthly fee. Wireless cards must be registered with iTech at Southern Miss in order for them to access the wireless network on campus.

There are dozens of transmitters for the wireless network located on all floors of the University Libraries. No matter where one travels within these buildings, access to the network will be available. This way, patrons can pick quiet study areas or enjoy being close to needed resources while also being connected to the network and the resources it provides.
