How do I rent a laptop/notebook computer?

Both Cook Library and the Gulf Coast Library have several notebook computers available for rent at the Circulation desk. Cook Library laptop computers and peripheral equipment (headphones, drives, etc.) are available any time the library is open, and due the following day. Gulf Coast Library laptop computers and peripheral equipment are available any time the library is open, and due 24 hours from check out. A user agreement is completed with each loan. A $5.00 per loan charge will be assessed on the borrowers’ library account for laptop loans.

Laptops may not be renewed when others are waiting for one to become available.

Overdue fines are calculated at $5.00 per hour, even after library hours. Maximum fines are $500.00. The borrower assumes personal financial responsibility for any repairs or replacement of any equipment damaged through neglect or loss while in the custody of the borrower.
