Mississippi Universities Library Borrowing CardsSouthern Miss Libraries is a member of the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning participating in reciprocal borrowing. Current students, faculty, and staff in good standing with Southern Miss Libraries are eligible to borrow library materials from the six participating universities. Participating in this agreement are Alcorn State University, Delta State University, Mississippi State University, Mississippi Valley State University, The University of Mississippi, The University of Southern Mississippi. Mississippi Universities Library (MUL) Borrowing Cards are issued at the Circulation Desks at Cook Library in Hattiesburg, and Cox Library on the Gulf Coast Campus. The cards are non-transferable. Lending institutions will honor MUL Borrowing Cards when they are presented in conjunction with a valid picture identification card from The University of Southern Mississippi. Loan periods are designated by the lending institution. All overdue fines and return of materials to the lending institution are the responsibility of the individual borrower. Lost material and damaged material charges will follow the governing Circulation Policy at each institution.
