Example of a Works Cited page
Setting Up the Page
- Begin your works cited list on a separate page at the end of your essay, under the label Works Cited
(with no quotation marks, underlining, etc.). Center this heading at the top of the page.
- Citations appear alphabetically by author's last name. (If the work has no author listed, alphabetize
it by its title).
- Use a hanging indent for each citation. In a hanging indent, the first line of each citation is even with the margin, all subsequent lines of the citation are indented.
To set up a hanging indent in Microsoft Word 2007:
| Step 1: Go to Format > Paragraph

|
| Step 2: Find the category Indentation, then "Special:" and choose Hanging
