I knew during that period that that would be the direction my ministry would take which, of course, was a rather abrupt and robust change of interest and direction from a kid who was going to be the traditional preacher and have three revivals a year and move on up the ladder and wind up as pastor of the First Baptist Church of Sumrall, Mississippi or somewhere to knowing that look, you're not ever going to be that. You are going to live your whole life and you are not ever going to be what your mama dedicated you to the Lord to be.
