Adler's writings are for juvenile audiences, beginning with the sports biography Man with a Mission: Pelé (1976). He followed this with Young Women in the World of Race Horses (1978) and Famous Horses of America (1979). The Texas Rangers was published in 1979, then Adler returned to the world of sports with Heroes of Soccer (1980).
