Although
many of your questions can be answered by information on this
web site or through e-mail, there are still other research
projects that require a visit to the de Grummond Collection.
If you find that this is necessary for your project, we'd
like to assist you in preparing for your visit. Since our
staff is small, it is necessary that you let us know in advance
when you'll be visiting. This will allow us to select materials
for your use and to assure you that we will be open
and available to assist you.
Please
contact us with your research interests before your visit. We'll pull books and other materials related
to your topic. Since some of the books and materials in the
de Grummond Collection are uncataloged and/or unprocessed, this advance notice will allow us to find as many resources as
possible to assist you in your research.
As
we are a part of the University Libraries at The University
of Southern Mississippi, we follow an academic schedule. Our office hours in McCain Library are normally 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, with exhibit hours in Cook Library 9 a.m.- 9 p.m., Monday - Thursday; 9 a.m.- 8 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.,Saturday; 12-6 p.m., Sunday. The Library is closed during
