Photographic negatives in black and white and color taken by Hattiesburg, Mississippi studio photographer Robert "Bob" Waller. Mr. Waller was born in 1910 and died in 1977. A life-long resident of Hattiesburg, he worked as a sports writer and photographer for the Hattiesburg American newspaper and served as Sheriff of Forrest County from 1960 to 1964.

The subjects of the Bob Waller photographs are primarily Hattiesburg people, places, and events. They include the following series:

	Portraits, 1951-1977.
	Commercial, 1947-1956.
	Combined commercial, color, weddings, 1960-1968.
	Copy negatives, 1964-1971.
