Form of Material: Materials donated by Steve Miller, the initial guest lecturer for the USM Libraries Book Arts Lecture Series. The Series debuted on September 29, 2005: 1. Illustrated broadside featuring Mary Wehner’s poem, “The Chinese Painting” (2003) 2. Broadside featuring a linoleum cut by Cuban artist Carlos Ayress Moreno and a poem by Billy Collins from his book, Sailing Alone Around the Room. The broadside also includes a Spanish version of the poem by Miguel Angel Zapata. (2003) 3. Copy of a William Faulkner sonnet, “New Orleans.” Number 40 of 100 copies, which were printed with the permission of Jill Faulkner Summers.
