Biographical/Historical Sketch: The Cropwell Baptist Church was organized on September 8, 1889, at Cropwell, St. Clair County, Alabama. It was affiliated with the Coosa River Baptist Association. Record book of the Cropwell Baptist Church containing minutes (1889-1908, 1920) and an alphabetical list of members (1889-1923), with notations on their membership status. The minutes include a record of church services and the Biblical passages used as basis of sermons, as well as a record of church officers. Also included in the collection are the published minutes of the 48th annual session of the Coosa River Baptist Association (1881). |
