Copyright: This collection may be protected from unauthorized copying by the Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code). Form of Material: Two photograph albums containing images of Mrs. F.A. Hughes and her family. Photos were taken in various locations in Mississippi, such as Tupelo, Greenwood, Hattiesburg, Glade, and Sellers. A significant number of images were taken on The University of Southern Mississippi campus (formerly known as Mississippi Normal College, State Teachers College and Mississippi Southern College). Rena Hughes and J.T. Hughes (whose pictures are in the albums) were students at Mississippi Normal College, and are mentioned in the 1915 and 1916 yearbooks. |
