Address "The Treatment of Yellow Fever" given by Dr. Holt, President of Louisiana Board of Health, to the Physicians of New Orleans on July 29, 1905. In the 1880s, Dr. Holt was President of the Board of Health in the State of Louisiana. He was the author of a pamphlet entitled "Prevention of Yellow Fever: Commercial Relations With Brazil, as Affected By Quarantine Regulations," ca. 1886. His brother David Holt served in the Civil War in Company "K", 16th Regiment, Mississippi Infantry.
