Documents, memoirs, and photographs relating to the Army Air Corps Crash Boat Base in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, where Sgt. Guy L. Gammon was stationed during World War II. The purpose of the base was to rescue airmen who were forced down into the water during training missions. The collection includes 43 photographs of the base and its vessels.
