One copy of Carroll Case's 1998 book The Slaughter: An American Atrocity about the alleged massacre of African American soldiers at Camp Van Dorn near Centreville, Mississippi during World War II. The first half of the book contains documentary material; the second half is the author's fictional re-creation of what he believes happened.
