How do I place a hold on an item available in University Libraries?

Patrons may place a hold on items checked out or available using the Request It button on the item record of each circulating item in the library catalog. Items located at one of the campus libraries may be placed on hold and sent to another library for pick up. After clicking the Request It button, fill in the requested information. When the item arrives at the designated library, a hold pickup notice will be sent to the patron's university e-mail address.

  1. Click Request It.
  2. Login to your account, if you haven't already done so.
  3. Confirm that the correct item is displayed.
  4. Select the library where you would like to pick up the item.
  5. Click the Submit button.
