How do I book media materials? What does booking an item mean? Booking allows you to reserve library materials for future use. Unlike placing a hold, which reserves library materials for use as soon as they become available, booking an item reserves it for a specified length of time and leaves it free for other patrons to use until that specified (booked) time. Who can book media materials? Anyone eligible to borrow library materials such as faculty, staff, and students. Where do I book media materials? Media bookings are taken at the Reading Room desk in Cook Library and online using the booking form. Where do I collect my booked media materials? You can pick up booked media materials at the Cook Library Reading Room desk. Please Note: While every effort is made to make the material you have booked available, from time to time, items may be unavailable. It is recommended that classes not be programmed solely around the use of the booked materials. |
