How do I use the wired network with my computer?
Wired access to the Internet is available in some University Libraries buildings through the campus network maintained by iTech. Most of the group study rooms and research carrels in Cook Library have a network jack available, but library users must provide their own network cable. Some of the group study rooms in the Cook Library Reading Room do not have wired Internet access, but wireless is available.
Individuals using AOL software to access the Internet may be unable to access the libraries' online resources, even when plugged into a network jack inside one of the libraries. Visit the trouble-shooting section of the FAQ for more information about this problem.
