Help

How do I get help using one of the article databases?

Most databases that University Libraries subscribe to provide some sort of help. When you are in the database, look for a button or link that says help, how do I . . ., search tips, or something similar. Sometimes, the button will simply look like a question mark.

On USM Libraries list of databases, there is a link to a user guide, online tutorial, or other form of help for each database.

For assistance from a librarian you may come to, call, or e-mail the library assistance desk in the Cook Library Learning Commons. You may also set up a research consultation with a librarian. For more information please see Ask-A-Librarian.
