How do I find maps?
Many of the maps held by University Libraries are U.S. government documents.
To find U.S. government document maps in University Libraries, use the Anna library catalog. Go to the advanced search screen, limit "item category 2" to Government documents maps, and then enter search terms (e.g., author, title, subject) if desired. If no search terms are entered, the catalog will produce a list of all government document maps.
To find maps in University Libraries that are not government documents, use the Anna library catalog. Go to the advanced search screen, limit the "type" to Maps, except government document maps, and then enter search terms (e.g., author, title, subject) if desired. If no search terms are entered, the catalog will produce a list of all non-government document maps.
In Cook Library, maps are located in the Reading Room on the 2nd floor.
