How do I find genealogy resources?The Library Catalog provides access to information about the Library's collection through keyword, author, title and subject. Search the Library Catalog by keyword for your topic. Do not put in a personal name, but words like:
Search the Classic Library Catalog by Subject for your topic using Library of Congress Subject Headings. If you are searching for states other than Mississippi, change the state to the one you are interested in.
Genealogy materials related to Mississippi are considered part of the Mississippiana Collection and are located in the Cleanth Brooks Reading Room on the 3rd floor of McCain Library. Genealogy materials not clearly related to Mississippi are located in Cook Library. |
