How do I find an item in the Historical Manuscripts and University Archives Collections?
The Historical Manuscripts and Archives section of Special Collections holds more than 10,000 cubic feet of historical manuscripts, photographs, and University archives, specializing in the civil rights movement, the timber and railroad industries in Mississippi, the American Civil War, USM records and history, and other original materials associated with Mississippi history and culture. Among its holdings are the papers of Theodore G. Bilbo, William Colmer, Will D. Campbell, Victoria Gray Adams, and the Herbert Randall Freedom Summer Photographs.
