How do I learn more about Library Technology services at University Libraries?

The Library Technology department is responsible for the implementation of much of the technology brought into University Libraries. The department researches, selects and purchases equipment and software. It is also responsible for the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of much of the equipment and software for libraries at the Hattiesburg campus. The department administers several of the libraries' servers, including the Web server and the library automation system server (which provides the libraries' catalog, among other things). The department has recently turned over the maintenance of most public computers and network printing to iTech as many general computer labs in Hattiesburg closed and equipment from them was incorporated into Cook Library.
