Databases
From the USM Libraries homepage under "Databases and Resources by Subject" you can choose subject databases in which to search for articles by subject. If you are studying women writers, you may want to choose the subject "Literature." If you are studying women's health issues you will want to choose the subject "Health." Even though the databases for women's studies are limited, remember to search more general databases as well. For example, JSTOR contains journals for women's studies and Wilson Biographies contains the biographies of many famous women. The Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center would contain information on controversial issues related to women.
