Introduction
E-struction is an email instruction program which will introduce participants to a range of electronic library resources.  The series of lessons will be emailed to the participants upon registration.

What is Needed to Participate?

If you are doing these lessons from your home computer (off-campus), you will need your SOAR login and password to access the library's online databases. A PIN# is helpful, but not absolutely necessary, to complete the ANNA tutorial. A PIN# is required to access certain library services reviewed in the tutorial. If you do not have a PIN#, you can obtain one by submitting an online PIN Request Form.

Registration
USM faculty, staff, and students wanting to participate in the E-struction mail-out should register electronically. To register, click on this link.


USM Libraries adapted this E-struction program from the LOUIS E-struction, a program developed by UNO and LSU. The LOUIS Home Page outlines steps to implement the program at other institutions including a timeline, promotional materials, and text files of their tutorials. Institutions wishing to use or adapt LOUIS E-struction may register from the LOUIS E-Struction Home Page.
