Provide support for the research, teaching and public service missions of the University of Southern Mississippi Libraries.

Goals

1. Support the services, collections, facilities, and activities of the libraries
2. Encourage financial gifts, endowments, and bequests to strengthen the libraries
3. Solicit donations of appropriate materials for the libraries' collections
4. Sponsor activities and events that promote the libraries' collections and resources
5. Promote knowledge of and interest in University Libraries
6. Promote the relationship between the University, its libraries, and the community
7. Provide programs and events of interest to the friends and the community
