Membership in the Friends confers:

• Access to the resources of the University Libraries including the ability to check out materials that circulate
• A 10% Discount at the Hattiesburg Campus Starbucks
• A 10% Discount at the Hattiesburg and Gulf Coast Campus Barnes & Noble
• A 10% Discount at the Hattiesburg Book Store Main Street Books
• Invitations to book sale previews, and other library events
• Copies of all University Libraries publications and periodic library updates from the Dean of Libraries

Members at or above the Contributor level shall:

• Have their names listed in Library Focus, an official publication of Southern Mississippi Libraries

New members at the Corporate Partner, Life and Dean's Circle level shall receive an appreciation plaque.

Members at the Dean's Circle level shall be invited to select activities in attendance with the Dean of Libraries.

New members at the Life Membership level will be acknowledged in the next issue of Library Focus and other venues such as the libraries' web site, the Student Printz newspaper, the Talon which is published by the Alumni Association, and in an advertisement in the member's local newspaper of choice.
