Women of the Struggle: Facing Fear in the Civil Rights Era Film Screening

University Libraries’ Special Collections and the Center for Human Rights and Civil Liberties invite you to a screening of the film Women of the Struggle: Facing Fear in the Civil Rights Era. The screening will take place on Monday, April 17 at 5:30 p.m. in the Gonzalez Auditorium in the Liberal Arts building on the Hattiesburg campus.

Women of the Struggle is a powerful and inspirational documentary that focuses upon eighteen women instrumental in Mississippi’s civil rights movement, including Southern Miss alum, Raylawni Branch. Ms. Raylawni Branch will join producers G. Mark LaFrancis, Robert Morgan, and Darrell White for a discussion following the film.
