University Libraries are hosting a summer reading program during the month of July for children of Southern Miss students, faculty, and staff. Children will be encouraged to read books from a provided list and at the conclusion of the program, prizes will be awarded based on number of books read. This program is a wonderful way for children to keep and improve their reading skills over the summer holiday.

The Curriculum Materials Center in Cook Library and the Curriculum Lab at the Gulf Coast Library are home to a wide array of children's and young adult literature, textbooks, educational board games and kits, media, and more. For more information, contact Anna Brannin, CMC Specialist, at 601.266.4561 or , or Allisa Beck, Gulf Coast Librarian, at or 228.214.3468.
