In an effort to enhance the availability of reserve materials to students, Cook Library is making a change in the processing and handling of photocopied materials placed on Reserve. Beginning in the summer 2009 semester, all photocopies or PDF's submitted for Reserves will be entered as an eReserve only, eliminating the processing of paper copies and eliminating the check out/in from the Circulation Desk. This change will allow students to access eReserves 24 hours a day, as well as reduce the supplies needed to process the paper copies and eliminate several staff processing steps. It also means that eReserves will be available to the students a bit sooner than in the past. The hard copy provided will be kept on file for the rare occasion that the integrated library system becomes unavailable.
