University Libraries is now offering access to Newspapers.com for the University community. This library edition offers researchers access to over 20,000 digitized newspapers from the U.S. and beyond, dating from the 1690s to the recent past.

Newspapers.com database is a user-friendly resource with search, save, and share capabilities designed specifically for newspapers. Without knowing the name of the newspaper, users can quickly search millions of full-text pages by viewing available newspapers grouped by location on a modern map. Researchers can also filter search results using title counts provided by location or broaden the scope of results using traditional search techniques like keyword, location, and time period or newspaper name. The image viewer provides high-quality images that can be clipped, saved, and shared via social outlets. Whether you are interested in researching local history or genealogy, this new database will be one of your best resources.
