Learn how to showcase your academic accomplishments or how to look for employment with your new degree in a workshop designed to help you create a professional curriculum vitae (CV). The workshop will be offered on April 21 at 12 p.m. in Gulf Coast Library room 204.

Participants will learn why you may need a CV instead of a resume as well as tips and tricks to help you understand what employers are looking for in a well-written CV, why you may need to keep an updated CV in your chosen profession, and view examples of CVs used for job applications.

For more information, contact Jamie Stanfield, science, nursing, and health librarian at the Gulf Park campus, at Jamie.Stanfield@usm.edu or 228.214.3467. This workshop is a collaboration between the Gulf Coast Library and the Academic Success Center.
