University Libraries Receive $2.4 Million Gift

In 2002, Mary and Joseph "Chip" Tatum, Jr. made a generous gift to benefit the University of Southern Mississippi Libraries. They donated property in Woolmarket, Mississippi to the University of Southern Mississippi Foundation. The property recently sold for over $2.4 million and the proceeds of that sale will be used to fund an endowment to benefit University Libraries for years to come.
