Overview of Aquila and the Thesis/Dissertation Review Process

Aquila is the University’s repository for scholarship and research produced at Southern Miss and where all graduate students will submit their theses, dissertations and nursing capstone projects for review and approval.Join Josh Cromwell, Institutional Repository Coordinator, and Michaela Donohue, Graduate Communications and Documents Specialist, for an introduction to Aquila and the process for graduate students to submit their work on Thursday, April 5 at 2 p.m. in Cook Library Room 123 (LIB 123).

In this workshop, participants will look at some of the different collections available in Aquila. They will also learn about the steps for using the Graduate School’s thesis and dissertation templates and will walk through the process for submitting a thesis, dissertation or capstone project to the Graduate School Documents Specialist. The features and benefits that are available to authors once the final, approved thesis or dissertation is posted in Aquila will also be demonstrated.
