Open Textbook Initiative Accepting Applications

The Office of the Provost and University Libraries are now accepting applications for the 2022 - 2023 cycle of the Open Textbook Initiative. The program aims to support faculty in their efforts to replace traditional commercial textbooks with academically equivalent alternatives that are available at no cost to students. Faculty are invited to apply for awards ranging from $400 to $1,600 for winning proposals that are considered likely to achieve the program outcomes.
