42nd Fay B. Kaigler Children's Book Festival
The Fay B. Kaigler Children's Book Festival is an annual event sponsored by the School of Library and Information Science at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Dates for the 2009 Festival are March 25, 26, & 27th, 2009. Highlighting the festival will be the 2009 Southern Miss Medallion winner, author Judy Blume.

21st Holiday Book Preview
The de Grummond Children's Literature Collection and University Libraries are pleased to announce plans for the 21st Holiday Book Preview. The event will be held in the de Grummond exhibit room (on the 2nd floor of Cook Library) on Sunday, November 2nd, from 1 to 5 p.m., and Monday, November 3rd, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Come by and browse through the hundreds of new children’s and young adult books that will be on display from publishers throughout the U.S. and Canada. If you would like to know what books were featured last year, take a look at the official book list.
